Recipe: Healthy Blueberry and Banana Pancakes!

I've found this recipe in one of the videos from Tess Christine, who is one of my favourite beauty gurus on the internet. American pancakes aren't very healthy, they contain lots of butter and baking powder or beaking soda. Those ones don't have these things. They don't even contain sugar or flour, so they are gluten free! Try this recipe and you won't regret it!

Ingredients (for 4 pancakes):
  • half a ripe banana
  • half a cup of oat flakes
  • one cup of blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon of flax-seed
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • 2 egg whites
  • any topping you want, I used honey
Put the banana, oat flakes, flax-seed, egg whites and vanilla into a blender. Blend for about 2-3 minutes until smooth. Heat the non-stick frying pan (I added a little bit of olive oil to make sure they don't stick). Pur the mixture in the hot pan. Add blueberries on the top. Fry the pancakes until golden brown. Add your favourite toppings.
