Recipe: Best (Healthy) Pancakes Ever!

Recipe: Best (Healthy) Pancakes Ever!
Hello!
I'm coming to you with one of the best recipes that are on this blog. As you know from the title it is a recipe for the healthy pancakes. And LITERALLY they are the best pancakes I have ever eaten in my entire life. They are so fluffy and delicious! I made them with white spelt flour, but you can easly substitute it with any kind of flour.
I tried many recipes for healthy pancakes, there is another pancake recipe here. But this one in my opinion taste the best. It is a recipe from a blog I unfortunately can't remember, but I changed it in some ways.
Tell me down in the comments if you made them. OK, here's the recipe!

My Week in Photos.

My Week in Photos.
Hello!
Another round of My Week in Photos post. This week was one of the worst of this month. I got sick as you know and didn't feel well until now. My throat was aching, my head was aching and I had watery nose. On the brighter side the weather was lovely, so on Friday I went for a bike trip. Thought that the bike road will be crowded, there was nobody. I also found a new route, which I'm going to ride along all the time. To sum this up I drove over 23 km. After coming home I was pretty tired but so happy. I didn't beat my lifetime score, which is 30km, but it's a lot still.

Anyway. Apart from the exciting bike trip I also made raw brownies for the first time. I wanted to make them for so long. Let me tell you they are so delicious I can't even. I can already see myself making them all the time. I made a blog post already with a recipe for next week, so don't worry, you won't miss anything. And this reminded me that this weekend I have been working on my food photography. It is getting better and better, but I still have to learn some things. I hope soon they will be as perfect as I want them to be.

And probably last most exciting thing, but for you not so exciting. I moved my bed, so now it's leanign the wall with pictures. I really like how it looks and think it will stay this way for a longer time. Aaaand I'm thinking about a room tour, because my room is almost finished. Some pieces are still missing, so the post will be probably in 2-3 months. Stay tuned!

Ok, that's all I had to say. I'm waiting now for my dinner to cook. So I'm leaving you with some photos. Enjoy!

Hello everybody!
How is everyone doing? I am sick at the moment and since I'm staying at home alone with nothing to do, I decided that it's time to do a question tag as I haven't done it in a big while- 6 months to be precised. 2. Name 3 things that are physically close to you. My blanket, phone and laptop.
  3. What's the weather like right now? Unfortunaly it's really sunny with no clouds and it's 9 degrees C. Perfect weather for running :'(, I'm so lucky...
  4. Do you drive? If so, have you crushed? No, I don't drive yet. I will be having my driving test in 3-4 months. Can't wait!
  5. What time did you wake up this morning? I woke up at 8:51.
  6.  What was the last time you showered? Yesterday.
  7. What was the last movie you saw? Lately I haven't been watching any movies, because I'm more into tv shows right now. But last week on Friday I watched Shrek 3. So mature, I know.

  11. Do you like sushi? YES, I love sushi so much. This question made me really hungry.
  12. Where do you buy your groceries? Tesco.
  13. Have you ever taken any medication to help you fall asleep faster? I did, when I was in Japan I had the worst jet lag ever, so I had to take metalonin to help me fall asleep.
  14. How many siblings do you have? I have an older brother.
  15. Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop? Laptop.
  16. How old will you be turning on your next birthday? I will be turning 19, yay!
  17. Do you wear eye contacts or glasses? I wear both.
  18. Do you colour your hair? No, but I really want to dye my hair dark brown.
  19. Tell something you are planning to do today.  I'm planning to finish this post and plan others for the future.
  20. When was the last time you cried? Last week, I was crying from laughing.
  21. What's your perfect pizza topping? I absolutely love aragula, cherry tomatoes and parma ham. Yumm!
  22. Which do you prefer, hamburger or cheeseburger? I don't eat burgers at all, but if I had to choose I would pick hamburger. Not a fan of yellow cheese at all.

  25.  Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke? Actually yes.

Bye,
Kate xx

How To Turn Yourself Off?

How To Turn Yourself Off?
http://data1.whicdn.com/images/37840550/large.jpg

Hi!
I saw that you really liked my How not to worry? post as it got popular. So sticking with the same subject I decided to write more but about ways to turn yourself off like from social media etc. In these days we are practicly united with our phones, laptops and so on all the time. We spend so much time on the Internet, which we could dedicate to something more productive (says the one :D ). But to be honest sometimes I hate myself for doing nothing apart from going on some random sites or watching youtube videos all day long. Fortunately I've been able to disconnect from the virtual world, especially now because I have no Internet on my phone until the end of April. Therefore I'm stucked with boredom whenever I'm not home. But it made me realise how much I depend on my phone, which for me is rediculous as I am one of the most independent people I know. So I tried to find ways to just disconnect. And here they are :).

1. Reading a book- it's impossible for some of you, I know, I used to be that too. I hated reading books, especially ones that I have to read for school- still hating it now. But time has passed and I love it so much now. It is just like a TV in your head. You can visualise everything in your mind like characters and places. Sometimes I even imagine that I am the main character. And that's what I love about books, that the writer leaves you the job of putting those things into 'life'. So I really really insist on reading books. And let me tell you, if I'm reading an interesting book I can read it all day, forgetting about the outside world.

2. Go on a long walk- about a week ago I went for about an hour walk, alongside the river. It was actually the same day I lost my internet connection on my phone. I decided to take my camera and go see the sunset as it was hot and the sky was clear. Oh my God. It was so beautiful. And peaceful. And relaxing. So just go out without your phone and enjoy a beautiful day :).

3. Find a hobby that doesn't include technology- self explanatory. As you may know one of the most relaxing things for me is baking. Definately not a very healthy hobby, but my favourite. I even love it more when I do this in silence.

4. Turn on 'do not disturb' mode on your phone- I do this all the time whenever I feel like being alone and not talking to people. It helps you clear your mind and sit in peace. It's really ok to feel antisocial as the most stress we get from people.

5. Pamper yourself- take a long bath, put on a face mask, drink hot chocolate, watch your favourite movie or tv series, wear comfy clothes. Just treat youself and your skin. Not really too much to talk about.

6. Explore the nature- since more than a half of the population lives in a big city, the only green we see are trees on the streets or plants in our houses. It's best to from time to time explore the undiscovered. I'm not talking about going to a park in the city as they are crowded, noisy and rubbished. Go on an adventure outside the town. Go climbing, boating, camping. Not only you will feel million times more relaxed, but also you will be active.

So that is all I could think of. I hope I helped you in some way. And remember: don't worry! :)
See you soon.

Bye,
Kate xx

My Week in Photos.

My Week in Photos.
Hello!
Sorry for the lack of post yesterday but I was learning math all day as I had test today. Will see how it went :).
Anyways. Last week was so beautiful, the weather was just amazing: sunny and warm. It finally feels like spring now.
Also I was meeting my best friend Mary. We had a breakfast at my house, which consisted of delicious pancakes, loads of fruit and some Nutella #cheatday. Then we went for a walk in the park and grabbed some cake. As I said #cheatday.
As always, here are some of the photos I took from lastest week. Enjoy!

Breakfast with Mary.

Photos from the park:

Wento for a walk on Thursday just to see the sunset. Beautiful.

Quick stop in the city center.

Delicious dinner: fish, roasted sweet potatoes, cucumber and broccoli.

Walking back from the shopping center on Sunday. Lovely day but way too windy.

Homemade fresh grapefruit juice.

I hope you had a great week!

My Week in Photos.

My Week in Photos.
Hi!
Time for My Week in Photos post, which I didn't upload on Sunday, because it was Easter time. Anyway. The first three days were absolutely tiring. I was sleeping probably 4-5 hours a day. This might be normal for some people, but for me it's not enough.
Besides that I spent Easter holidays at home. I was cleaning and cooking from Friday to Saturday. And exciting news, well not really for you, I succeded in making mayo! Sounds so lame, but after 1,5 hours of hand mixing it turned out to be perfect and I was really proud of myself, although I don't really like mayo so much.
Also I finished season three of Community aka one of the best tv series I have ever watched. I even cried a little bit at the end of the one before last episode. I can't wait for the fourth season!
Ok, so that's the end of my rumbling. Enjoy the photos!

It was a really rainy week.
